Stirling is the grandson of Don Everly and great nephew to Phil Everly of the Everly Brothers.

Stirling is a 6th generation Nashvillian.

Stirling was a very successful child model represented by Wilhelmina and Ford Kids modeling agencies. He started when he was 6 months old and in his first job he portrayed baby Elvis for an article titled Cloning Elvis in Gentlemen's Quarterly. He has has also modeled for Tommy Hilfiger, Matha Stewart Kids Magazine, Saks Fifth Avenue, FAO Schwartz, Disney and many more publications.
