In the 1970's a group of 18 young revolutionaries from the Palestinian Liberation Movements's Fatah Student Brigade are sent from Lebanon to Hanoi, Vietnam for training and education. Remembering chants for "Father Ho Chi Minh" and singing songs of revolution, old members of the movement recount their experiences during a time of epic heroism and idealism. The film also tells the story of Hatem Hatem, known by the nom de guerre Abu Hassan Hanoi, as recounted by his son, Hassan, a filmmaker who lives and works in the UAE.
