The Joshua Tree documents the process U2 went through to craft that classic album.
Interviews with Bono, the Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen present each member's perspective on the sessions, and extensive analysis by producers Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno add to the feeling of being in the studio as the album takes shape. Producer Steve Lillywhite and photographer Anton Corbijn are also featured interviewees in this hour-long documentary, which also includes the video for "Sweetest Thing." Considering its rather brief running time, the addition of some more videos for the album's singles would have been a nice touch, but The Joshua Tree will satisfy U2 fans who want to know more about one of the group's best works. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide.
