Hi, I'm Dale A. Dison. I commentate on and analyze poker at Odds.ph.
My journey into the world of poker began over 15 years ago in the smoky card rooms of Manila. What started as a casual hobby quickly turned into an obsession. I fell in love with the strategy, the psychology, and the raw drama that unfolds at every table. After competing in many tournaments, both in-person and online, I realized that my true talent wasn't just playing the game, but explaining it to others.
In 2018, I switched from playing to commentating full-time. Since then, I've had the privilege of participating in major tournaments across Asia, including the Asian Poker Tour, local Philippine series, and high-stakes online events. My style combines sharp technical analysis with entertaining storytelling. I want viewers to understand every move the heroes make, every bluff that looks like a trick, and every spot where the chips are being moved around as if they were sitting at the final table themselves.
Today, I am the main poker commentator for Odds.ph, a website that provides reliable information about poker odds, live streams, and detailed tournament coverage in Southeast Asia. I provide real-time analysis during final tables, create pre-game breakdowns, and host post-match interviews. I help both casual fans and serious players get more out of the game.
When I'm not working as a poker commentator, I spend my time studying the latest strategies, reviewing hands, and helping new Filipino poker players improve. I strongly believe that poker is more than just a game of cards. It's a mental sport that teaches discipline, patience, and emotional control.
I'm very thankful to be part of the Asian poker scene, which is growing. I'm even more excited about what's still to come. If you're watching a stream on Odds.ph and hear a voice you recognize explaining the game, that's me.
