Aaron John Tao

Aaron John Tao was born alongside his twin brother, Winston Titus Tao, to Taiwanese parents in Orange County, California.

Growing up, Aaron had always excelled in English, and found himself moving toward writing, public speaking and a possible career in the ministry.

At twenty-one, Aaron graduated with a degree in biblical studies and was offered a temporary position as Pastor at Hana Christian Fellowship in the tropical rainforest of Maui. Without any hesitation, he immediately packed his bags and took off. He ended up living among the colorful locals for a year...Spending six of those months living happily in a tent he bought at Costco.

After a year in Maui, Aaron returned home to California where he pursued a degree in English, until he stumbled upon his other great passion: Acting. Soon enough, he exhausted every class the university had to offer and found himself acting, writing,directing, and producing his own films in conjunction with his twin brother.

The brothers' most recent film collaboration, Picture. Perfect. was nominated for Chapman University Film School's 2012 Cecil Awards for "Best Cinematography," "Best Editing," Best Production Design," "Best Director," and "Best Picture." It won all five categories and has been well received in over 15 film festivals to date.

In his free time, Aaron loves to be Chinese.
