Sabine, a 30-year-old woman, has recently moved to an isolated house near to a river with a dam. She is accompanied by her son Thomas, aged 15. As she tries to settle into her new home, Sabine experiences a series of strange phenomena. She cannot bear to see her son grow up and leave her, and she will do anything to keep him with her.
