After finishing his apprenticeship in the German Bundeswehr, Tom goes to Afghanistan as a master sergeant in the medical service. Back in Germany, he struggles with his daily life and the recurring memories from war. More and more he suffers from the posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms.
