It was rather quaint, there was even color in the buildings. But as time went on, it got more horrible to me…
Henry Miller é O CARA!
Como ele mesmo dizia: "Não tenho nenhum respeito pelo artista, por maior que ele seja, que não coloque sua arte em prática na sua vida." E era exatamente o que fazia em sua obra, onde uma das características mais marcantes é a narrativa na 1ª pessoa, numa espécie de "diário erótico-anarquista" e tudo isso na década de 1930!
