The film, shot in mix media (super8, 16mm, stills), is an ensemble of imaginary characters who tell their story, and eventually how they died, from the beyond. The evocative black and white images, mainly shots of statues of European monumental graveyards in France, Italy and England are supported by an accurate sound design which reproduce and recall the moment of their depart. Like a darker Antholgy of Spoon River each story is told as a Victorian poem-like epitaph.
