Although mother Mary supplies the story of his early years, the larger part of the narrative unfolds in the words of Jeff's contemporaries interviews concentrate on bandmates, studio crew & others who worked with him professionally.
It pays special attention to his New York tenure, in particular his breakout performance at the St. Ann's tribute for his biological father Tim, and his appearances at the Manhattan's Sin-é, as well as his final days in Memphis.
