A reflective tale of friendship and loss in rural Scandinavia.
Norwegian director Eivind Landsvik talks about his Swedish-language film, Like a Mirrored Pool:
“The film is a story about friendship and memory, and the defenses we use to explain and process our personal sense of guilt. In a visually intertwined and verbose attack on the audience, you are taken on an unbelievable journey where neither the beginning nor the end necessarily represents what is being told.”
