Majid's film career began when he joined Image Nation Abu Dhabi as a young intern with a passion for filmmaking. Over the course of his four years, Majid worked on a number of international and regional productions, including Contagion, From A to B, Djinn & Sea Shadow. He was also placed in the LA office of Image Nation's film partner Participant Media where he came to grips with the foundations of making a film. In 2012, Majid directed his first short feature film which premiered at DIFF. The sci-fi/B-movie, The Intruder!received numerous accolades, including a Golden Palm for Best Short at the Mexico's International Film Festival, an honorable mention at Boston's Sci-fi Film Festival and an excellence award at the Puerto Rico Rincon Festival. The film screened at 13 festivals around the world. Zinzana is Majid's first feature film, produced by Image Nation Abu Dhabi, starring Ali Suliman (Paradise Now) and Saleh Bakri (Salt of The Sea).
