Michael Baez has been in the entertainment industry for over a decade, as a writer, director and producer. His film production company, Baez Entertainment, Inc.
Michael has assistant directed the Pulitzer Prize winning play "Anna in the Tropics" by Nilo Cruz for the South Coast Repertory Theatre and the independent films: "How the Garcia Girls Spent their Summer" (Official selection of the 2005 Sundance Film Festival) and Neighborhood Watch.
Michael's advertising company has produced over 300 television commercials that have been seen on MTV, VH1, BET, Nickelodeon, MSG and CNN.
Michael has also produced and directed "Nude in New York", the award winning one-woman show by Jonisha Rios, which has received critical acclaim on both the East and West coasts
He has been a member of the Independent Feature Project, the National Association of Latino Independent Producers and a graduate of the New York Film Academy, where he attended on scholarship.
Michael has also written the following feature screenplays: "Butterfly in the Fire" (Top 5 Finalist in the HBO New York Latino International Film Festival's Screenplay Competition), "Racket", "Brush With Death", "Dragon Quest" & "Spanish Harlem"
