A short documentary about Polish conceptual artist Paweł Freisler, shot in 1971 in then Communist Poland by Piotr Andrejew; his first student film at the Polish National Film School in Lódź.
The film begins with the statement by the artist Pawel Freisler in which he agrees to listen to the director's commands. The film shot in January of 1971 on 35mm film, shows the artist revolting against gray, monotone surroundings of his life.
According to the senior Polish director Andrzej Wajda, PAJACE is one of the best student films ever made at the Lodz Film School, where first short movies by Roman Polański were produced.
