Sebastian was born in 1984 in the small town Adenau. He spent his childhood in a much smaller village, and he began directing and producing short films in 2003. After internships in the light and camera rental industry, he began to study film at Cologne University. During this time, he directed and produced several short films. After completing his first degree, he began studying at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg to deepen his knowledge as a movie director. There, he realised the projects TIM SCHRODER AND THE END OF ALL TIMES (2012), THE WORLD OUTSIDE (2013), MARTEN (2014) and WE ARE THE TIDE (2016).
