Tanya Leal Soto is a producer, storyteller and content creator for multiple platforms. She has worked in theatre, film, TV and art exhibits for the last 15 years. She received her BA in Art Theory from La Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana in her hometown Mexico City and her MA in Film Studies from the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK.

Nine years ago she moved to Los Angeles from Mexico City to work alongside Academy Award winner Actor and UNESCO Special Envoy Forest Whitaker, developing projects and managing operations for a variety of endeavors.

Currently she is producing branded content and experimenting with emerging technologies, one of her upcoming projects “Falling out of Love” a 360 music video, for which the team has partner with the New York Institute of Technology and REVRIE Immersive Works, has been chosen as an Indiegogo Fellow at the MINY Media Center and will go into production this summer.

She is also the Los Angeles Chapter organizer for StoryCode an open-source, global community for emerging and established cross-platform and immersive storytellers.

Most Recently, Tanya was selected to be apart of the Oculus Launchpad, which is a program to support promising VR creators.
