Set in the Liu Song Dynasty (420-479), with powerful aristocrats clamoring for power, the people of the Liu Song Empire have succumbed to the ensuing chaos. Desperate to bring peace to his crumbling nation, the young emperor, Liu Yi Kang, son of Emperor Wu of Liu Song, the founder of the Liu Song Dynasty, is willing to do whatever it takes to save his people, but the road before him will not be easy. With most of the country’s powerful families plotting against him, Yi Kang’s list of allies is growing dangerously thin.
Knowing the only way to strengthen his position is to ally himself with a mighty family, Yi Kang agrees to an alliance through marriage with the powerful Shen family. A family with deep military roots, the Shen family can provide the strength Yi Kang needs to enact the reform necessary to oust the aristocrats bent on destroying the nation. With the family’s brilliant and beautiful, Shen Li Ge by his side, the two begin the arduous task of reformation.
Facing off against one of the nation’s most powerful and corrupt clans, Yi Kang and Li Ge must use every ounce of their wits and strength to defeat their foes. But peace doesn’t come without a price and the cost of this battle is tremendous. In the midst of so much heartache and despair, can this noble couple find a way to heal the wounds of a broken nation and at the same time, mend the wounds of their own broken hearts?

Um enredo cativante e intenso, produção impecável, protagonista feminina com força e determinação, muita intriga política com vilões astutos e implacáveis, tem tudo que eu gosto num drama. Casal de protagonistas é no mínimo, de tirar o fôlego,um deleite absoluto vê-los interagindo,por isso tudo me viciei neste drama mesmo sendo longo,é bem escrito, elenco excelente, boas atuações. O final talvez não ficou muito claro, mas supondo o que aconteceu, podemos interpretar dois finais pra ela, eu escolhi um final pra ela feliz e satisfatório. Assisti até o final porque me prendeu muito a atenção e eu recomendo.
Começou bem, mas enrrolou e decepcionou no final
O drama é bom, prende a atenção do começo ao fim, principalmente nas cenas de ação, que são ótimas!
Li Ge é uma personagem incrível, ela não precisa que ninguém a salve, é uma pessoa forte e independente. O que mais peca no drama é o romance, que apesar de cativar a atenção e ser muito fofo, não temos muitas cenas românticas entre Li Ge e Fourth Brother.
Acho que no drama inteiro só tem uma cena de beijo e deveria ter muito mais, mesmo que fossem só aqueles beijinhos curtos.
Claro que gosto de toda a história deles e todos os obstáculos que passaram para ficarem juntos, mas vamos admitir, tem hora que é preciso um pouco de paixão.
San Bao e Xiao Xin são uma completa gracinha, acho que gostava mais deles do que do casal principal ;) HAHAHAHA'
Como já disse, o desenvolver é muito bom e vai continuando assim, mas quando chega no final, acontece o mesmo que com outros dramas de época, conseguem estragar tudo que foi construído, dando um final confuso, apressado e não o encerramento que eu estava esperando ou que a história merecia.
Primeiro de tudo, se eu entendi direito, o Peng Cheng tinha conseguido fazer o rei aceitar a Li Ge, já que ele foi atrás dela com um decreto e se a Li Ge realmente se matou, achando que essa era a única solução para ajudar ele, isso é muito frustrante.
E também, se ela morreu naquele balanço, aonde o corpo dela estava, se o Peng Cheng foi lá depois e não tinha nada?!
O que falar sobre essa cena final... não dá para entender se essa Li Ge que o Peng Cheng está vendo é só uma imaginação das memórias dele, ou se ela está mesmo viva, mas se ela estiver viva, por que não estava na casa junto com a sua família ou no palácio?! *O*
