At the end of 2009, Liliane became Head of the Middle East Region, BBC World Service, editorially and managerially responsible for TV and radio broadcasts as well as future media in Arabic.

Liliane is now Controller, Languages, Global News, editorially and managerially responsible for all 32 language services on radio, TV and online.
