É um músico e empresário estadunidense. Holland é membro fundador da banda californiana The Offspring ao lado de Greg Kriesel, com quem tem uma gravadora independente chamada Nitro Records, fundada em 1994. Ele é o vocalista principal e guitarrista rítmico da banda, também ajuda a compor as canções do grupo. Ele também é mestre em biologia molecular e o apelido de Dexter vem da infância, pois ele era um aluno responsável e inteligente. Entre seus passatempos prediletos estão surfar e pilotar seu Jatinho (possui licença para isso).
