Adolphe Menjou is the greatest actor in Budapest. He falls in love with Elissa Landi, whose acting he considers second-rate. Together, they decide to take New York by storm, as a married couple, but she is a hit with the producers, and he is not so she winds up starring in David Manners' new play, while he's a bit player, until the lading man walks out, and Menjou takes his part.
