Kenya's very first Sci-Fi film is visually breathtaking and has a great premise begging to be extended into a full length feature. In a post-apocalyptic future years after World War III, where water is scarce, an African girl escapes the clutches of the underground facility where she works with one of the last gleams of life, a small plant (Which the workers in the underground facility tried to destroy), and sets off on a journey to preserve the life of the plant and possibly make it grow, in order to re-build the earth's surface. It's a compelling film with a strong performance from lead actress Kudzani Moswela and plenty of originality.
African sci-fi? Yeah. You have to see it. Clever, witty, powerful ideas. A must see if you can get your hands on it.
