Sara's School Life

At the beginning of the story, Sara and Soma can be seen walking to school together. Sara, confused as to why Soma looked so excited for the start of the new school year, asks what makes him so happy. He seems hesitant, but then explains that he started going out with Sara's bully, Akari. Naturally, Sara disapproves of the relationship. Soma is upset about his sister's reaction and after Sara explains what Akari has done to her, Soma says he believes she could've changed, only to Sara's spite. Soma grows upset and storms off, walking the rest of the way to the school on his own.—Fandom.
