Sinopse

Entre 1943 e 1948, Richard Fleischer (então um diretor estreante) foi contratado pela RKO Radio Pictures para produzir a série chamada "Flicker Flashbacks". Trata-se de uma antologia de curtas que, na verdade, são velhos filmes mudos dos primórdios do cinema (muitos dirigidos pelo pioneiro D.W. Griffith) reeditados para se transformarem em esquetes cômicas, ganhando nova trilha sonora e dublagem. Fleischer produziu 10 curtas de 10 minutos para a série. e eles eram exibidos nos cinemas antes da atração principal.
